A gala dinner took place in Antwerp (Belgium) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Benelux Travel Retail Association (BTRA), attended by a great number of personalities from the travel retail world. The dinner was organized by Jacques Parson, president of the BTRA and attended by Frank O’Connell, president of the ETRC as guest of honour.

On this occasion the honoured guests found themselves in a spectacular location, full of maritime history along the borders of the river Schelde, a stone throw from the historic centre of Antwerp.

During this event the BTRA's achievements where highlighted but, more importantly, the vision and the way forward were set out to face the future challenges that the travel retail world will encounter.

That same afternoon, key players of the airport retail world gathered for a conference presided by Jacques Parson and Frank O'Connell to discuss the future of airport travel retail.

This event will long be remembered as a wonderful occasion on which friends, old and new, shared ideas, accompanied by an exquisite meal, pleasant music and lots of humour.
